Three years complete (April 30th) is the minimum age of admission to the Nursery. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for subsequent classes. Admission to Christ Jyoti School will be given in the month of March. The date of Registration and the date of the entrance test will be displayed on the school noticeboard. Admission will be given on merit and good performance in the previous classes. Every pupil should be introduced personally by the parent to the principal. Admission will be closed as and when the seats are filled. Five plus is the age of admission to class one. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the subsequent classes. Admission is subject to performance in written tests followed by interviews and conduct.
When a student is admitted on a transfer certificate, he/she will not be placed in any class higher than for which the certificate shows the eligibility nor will he/she be promoted before the completion of a school year.
Pupil coming from recognized schools must produce their transfer certificate counter-signed by a competent authority of the Board. In no case shall a student be permitted to attend classes pending before formal admission.
